Bhairav Aarti — Meaning in Brief
This aarti praises Bhairav Dev, saying that Kali and Gauri Devi have served him. He is called the remover of sins, the one who carries devotees across the ocean of sorrow, a giver of happiness to devotees and a bearer of a fearsome form. He is described with a dog as his mount, a trident in hand, ankle bells on his feet and the sound of a damaru, and is praised as the remover of fear. The singer says service is not fruitful without him and asks him to show mercy without delay. It closes by saying that whoever sings the aarti of Batuknath obtains the fruit of his wishes.
When to recite: It is recited in devotion to Bhairav Dev.
